Knockouts Tag Team Champions crowned at Impact Hard to Kill

For the first time since 2013, Impact Wrestling has Knockouts Tag Team Champions as Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz won the titles at Saturday’s Hard To Kill.

Known as Fire and Flava, Hogan and Steelz defeated Havok and Nevaeh in the finals of the eight team tournament that started back in November. Along the way, they defeated the Sea Stars and then Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary in the semifinals.

Afterward, former Knockouts Tag Team champions Gail Kim and Madison Rayne came out to present the team with the belts, the first championship of any kind for Hogan or Steelz in Impact.

The titles were created in 2009 in then-TNA as Sarita and Taylor Wilde defeated The Beautiful People (Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky) in the finals of an eight team tournament. Over their four year history, they were held by nine different teams before being vacated in June 2013 with Eric Young and ODB as the final champions, deactivated a month later.
