As Daniel Pena reported earlier, Konnan requested his release from TNA before yesterday’s iMPACT tapings, where it was apparently granted. However, contradicting what was earlier reported, Ron Killings has yet to be granted his release from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Killings requested to be released from TNA prior to the Slammiversary PPV this past Sunday in Nashville because he has been unhappy for quite some time with his status in the company. His most recent character direction has been considered awful by most fans. Nonetheless, he has not officially been granted his release from TNA, and while it is expected to happen, it has not as of this writing.

Killings was not in Orlando, Florida last night for the iMPACT tapings, but was not scheduled to appear.
