WWE NXT video highlights: Adam Cole-Kyle O'Reilly contract signing

In the main event segment of last night’s NXT, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly made their match for TakeOver: Stand & Deliver official.
After weeks of the former Undisputed Era stablemates attacking each other and getting into altercations, NXT general manager William Regal ordered Cole and O’Reilly to appear last night. Regal presented them with a solution to their issues: a contract for an unsanctioned match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night two. The match only became official when Cole and O’Reilly signed the contract and acknowledged that NXT isn’t responsible for what they do to each other.
The unsanctioned stipulation is also due to O’Reilly not being medically cleared to compete in storyline. He was given a brainbuster on the steel steps by Cole last month.
During the contract signing, Cole spoke about watching O’Reilly unsuccessfully challenge for the NXT Championship twice and then try to get Finn Balor to join Undisputed Era. Cole insulted O’Reilly by saying that, deep down in his core, O’Reilly is nothing more than a lapdog. Cole said O’Reilly is comfortable sitting on the sidelines and being a sidekick. Cole called himself the greatest NXT Champion there’s ever been and said he’s nothing like O’Reilly.
Cole also claimed that O’Reilly never would have made it to WWE without him.
O’Reilly said that he’s grown up and has started to take accountability for his actions, but Cole is still the same asshole he was when Undisputed Era came to NXT. O’Reilly said he sold his soul for Undisputed Era and now wants it back. He said that, for the first time in four years, he’ll sleep like a baby after he defeats Cole at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
Last night’s NXT ended with Cole and O’Reilly being kept apart by officials after signing the contract for TakeOver. In a post-show angle, O’Reilly called Cole back out and wanted to have their match immediately. Cole took out two officials and punched Regal as he unsuccessfully tried to get to O’Reilly.
