Former-WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bayley recently sat down with Metro in the UK, ahead of the second Women’s Royal Rumble in WWE history. The WWE Superstar talked about everything from her dog, to her career, the upcoming Rumble, and even highlighted a WWE UK talent that she thinks is set for big things. During the conversation, she touched on how she doesn’t worry with anyone else’s plans, focusing on her own trajectory. She said she stays very vocal backstage, describing the act of simply being listened to as “a process.”

How satisfied are you with where you are in WWE at the moment? I never really look at other people, I just worry about myself. I’m always wanting more and there’s always a lot more to be done but we’re working on it and trying our best.

How vocal are you backstage? Very vocal, we bother them a lot.

And do you feel that you’re listened to? Sometimes, yeah. It’s a process.

When asked about how she stays cool while being hit in the mouth, Bayley said that a lot of it has to do with nature and not nurture.

I don’t know, I think all of us who are a part of it and are performers in the ring, there’s just something about us, maybe we’re a little crazy. It’s just a weird passion, all the fans that are so passionate about wrestling have that same thing but we just take it to the next level.

You have to be born with it maybe, but when that first match happened there was no question that I would stop it, you feed off the energy of the crowd and that helps with the pain process.

Finally, Bayley said that she thinks Pete Dunne is the best UK wrestler in WWE at the moment.

Who do you think the best wrestler from the UK is? I really like Pete Dunne. His grittiness and aggressiveness is something I want to learn from and something I wish I could be a little more of in the ring.

He’s got a very unique style to him and you can tell he’s not out here to impress anybody, he’s not going to change for anybody. It’s very admirable.
