Who Is Currently Favored to Face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WWE SummerSlam?

This week on WWE Raw, a multi-man match was announced to headline WWE Extreme Rules, with the winner facing Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title, presumably at SummerSlam.

The first two competitors announced in the match are Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley, however, Sky Bet has already released betting odds on who will be named the new #1 contender to The Beast’s Title.

It appears as if the oddsmakers are in line with what reports have been suggesting for the past month, as The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, is currently an 8/13 match favorite. Interestingly, Seth Rollins, who has not been announced for the match, is the second match favorite, at 9/4, with Bobby Lashley favored third, at 9/2.

Other names with current odds include Braun Strowman 14/1, Baron Corbin 16/1, Drew McIntyre 20/1, Finn Balor 20/1, Kevin Owens 20/1, Bobby Roode 33/1, Elias 33/1, Jinder Mahal 33/1 and Sami Zayn, who we now know is out of action for the rest of the year, after undergoing shoulder surgery earlier this week.

Sky Bet has also released odds for the other two announced Extreme Rules matches, with Alexa Bliss favored to retain the Raw Women’s Title at 2/7, and Nia Jax at 5/2.

As for the WWE Title, AJ Styles is a lopsided favorite to retain at 1/2, with Rusev’s odds currently sitting at 6/4.

For those of you unfamiliar with fractional betting odds, a bet of the number on the left of the fraction will win you the amount on the right. So a bet of $100 on AJ Styles will win you $200, and a bet of $600 on Rusev will win you $400.
