Big Backstage Update On AJ Styles’ WrestleMania 34 Status
As noted, WWE Champion AJ Styles suffered some type of injury either at or prior to the WWE MSG Live Event this past Friday night in New York City.
Following the injury, Styles was pulled from subsequent live events and was said to have been evaluated by the WWE medical staff backstage at Raw in Dallas this week. Styles’ WrestleMania 34 match has since been in question.

According to PWInsider.com, while the exact nature and extent of Styles’ injury remain unknown, word backstage at last night’s Smackdown tapings in Dallas is that Styles will be good to go for his match against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
Prior to the PWInsider update, we noted Styles took part in an international media call earlier this week and told reporters “I will go to WrestleMania even if I have one less leg.”
In somewhat related news, Styles was one of many WWE superstars who took to Twitter yesterday to comment on the news of Daniel Bryan receiving medical clearance to return to the ring:
I couldn’t be happier for Daniel. Being away for two years must have felt like an eternity…but today, he’s back and where he belongs. https://t.co/HNtSw1RwKI
