Top WWE UK Star Reportedly Falls Out Of Favor With Management
Inaugural WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate, who has remained a recurring player on WWE TV since his UK Title loss to Pete Dunne, has been on the losing end of TV bouts in recent memory.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Bate has fallen out of favor with WWE management due to backstage heat on the young UK star, stemming from a missed tour which WWE reportedly needed Bate to work.

Observer Radio host Dave Meltzer explained the issue predates Tyler Bate losing the WWE UK Title back in May of 2017 at NXT Takeover Chicago when WWE contacted Bate at the last minute to book him on a tour. Bate had already made other wrestling plans and informed WWE he could not make the tour, which did not sit well with WWE officials. Meltzer added WWE was grooming Bate to be the future of the UK Division, however, the heat he garnered following the tour incident has apparently halted those plans.
Bate most recently appeared on WWE TV in a losing effort to TJP in the Cruiserweight Tournament, and he also worked the WWE NXT TV tapings in Atlanta.
