As we noted moments ago, WWE has released Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore amidst allegations of rape, and ABC 15 out of Arizona has provided additional details on the developing story.

The ABC report cites Enzo’s WWE release and adds Phoenix police said the alleged rape incident happened on October 19th, 2017, at the Clarendon Hotel and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.

The report furthers police officers responded to a local hospital on October 23rd, following a call of a sexual assault that occurred several days prior at the hotel.

The story is allegedly connected to Tyler Grosso, a former member of the infamous hip-hop collective A$AP Mob and self-proclaimed “fashion mogul”, who has been accused by numerous individuals of running a scam operation disguised as a clothing brand. Philomena responded to one of Grosso’s recent tweets claiming, “You set up girls to get raped by your WWE friends aka [Enzo Amore].”

In related news, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com Tweeted the following on Enzo’s prior knowledge of the allegations, which might have influenced WWE’s decision to release the former Champion:
