Naturally the conversation veered from shoptalk to wife Chrissy Teigen, who’s pregnant with a baby boy, and their 2-year-old daughter Luna.

Bareilles asked the singer if Luna’s ready to become a big sis—and, uh, she kind of isn’t … “I have no idea,” John responded. “I don’t think she has an idea yet.”

That said, Legend thinks he and Chrissy might have something of a problem on their hands. “I think Luna’s going to be an issue,” he admitted, but the parents aren’t without a plan. First call of action: come bearing gifts; second: don’t make it feel like she’s the odd man out.

“I’ve heard that I should bring Luna in to him so it doesn’t feel like we’re all sitting there with this new guy, and [she’s] like, ‘Who dis?’” he joked.

“We’ll see. We’ll figure it out,” he told the Waitress star, adding that little miss Luna is something of a headliner at their household.

“I think she’ll probably have some growing pains, because she is running the house right now. She’s two; she’s talking a lot, and she’s used to being the center of everything. So we’ll see how she adjusts to sharing the spotlight,” he said.
