One of the biggest challenges the survivors of sexual assault face is living with the stigma of it. Despite the fact that what they went through wasn’t their fault, rape victims are often shunned by society and even family for bringing disrepute.

This often pushes them depression and sometimes to the extreme step of taking their own lives.
