The entire state of Kerala is fighting an unprecedented battle to stay afloat in the worst flooding the region has witnessed in nearly a century.

Millions of people across the state have been forced out of their homes after flood waters entered their homes, in some cases up to second and third floors of houses.

Most of the displaced have been shifted to over a thousand relief camps which have been opened across the state.
