AEK is crowned Winter Champion in the Greek women’s league, since they remained unbeaten in all the 11 matchdays of the league.

AEK won the one time derby against Panathinaikos by 3-0.

In a flamed court filled with fans once again, AEK started the game without rhythm and made a lot of mistakes, and Panathinaikos’ very young players tried their best to corner AEK and they did that for a long time at the 1st set but AEK’s experienced players didn’t through their chance away and took the set easily.

The second and third sets were AEK’s exhibition of leadership, they had the upper hand through the rest of the game and Panathinaikos simply couldn’t follow their rhythm.
