WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bayley recently spoke to SportsKeeda about what it was like in the backstage area the night Roman Reigns made his much-awaited return to The WWE and gave his return speech. Bayley also spoke about what her relationship is like with Roman Reigns.

Bayley would first open up about how it was like in the backstage area and how many members of The WWE Roster were watching Roman Reigns’ announcement, as seen in her comments below:

“It was very emotional,” Bayley said. “Everybody backstage was surrounded around the monitor. Everybody was just glad to have him back. Nobody knew what he was going to say. Nobody knew whether it was going to be good or bad. But he’s such a loved person backstage that we were just happy to see him.”

Bayley would then describe how Roman Reigns was acting around everyone in the backstage area after his announcement as well as his relationship with Sasha Banks & herself, as seen in her comments below:

“He was around smiling and hugging everybody,” Bayley said. “Sasha and I specifically, we have a funny relationship with Roman where he makes fun of us for being around each other all the time and just being like soul sisters. So obviously when we saw him he was like, ‘Oh you’re together again’. So it was amazing and then to hear the good news, everyone was kinda teary eyed.”

Bayley would then go on to say that it was a “very special” moment and that she could not wait for him to return to the locker room again.

Bayley is scheduled to team up with Sasha Banks to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against the team of Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka at WWE Fastlane this coming Sunday. WWE Fastlane takes place from The Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH. WWE Fastlane will begin its stream on The WWE Network at 7PM ET/4PM PT, with a Kickoff Show beginning one hour prior.
