WWE Announces Signing Of Another Former Impact Wrestling Star
WWE.com today announced the signing of Amanpreet Singh, known to Impact Wrestling fans as Mahabali Shera, to a developmental contract.
“I came to the U.S. with the dream that someday, I am going to make my country proud,” Singh told WWE.com. “I would consider myself fortunate if I am able to become a positive role model for the youngsters of my country and impact lives. I don’t think I can find a better platform than WWE to empower myself to empower others, especially those back at home.
Singh fgot on Impact Wrestling’s radar in 2011 as part of TNA’s Ring Ka King promotion in India. He signed with TNA/Impact in 2014 and was given a top level push as part of Impact’s efforts to endear themselves to their TV partners in India. He joins other recent WWE acquisitions who are native to India such as Indian TV star Saurav Gurjar, Rinku Singh and Kavita Devi, the first Indian woman to sign with the company.
