Jailed steroid distributor Richard Rodriguez has claimed that Roman Reigns and a slew of other celebrities had been purchasing steroids from him before he was imprisoned. Reigns has claimed that he has never heard of or purchased any items from Rodriguez. He was later cleared from the investigation, and WWE reportedly considers Rodriguez’ claims to be a non-story. Despite this, Rodriguez did a recent interview with Jon Bravo and claimed that he has proof of Reigns being one of his clients. Rodriquez stated that transactions with Reigns changed a lot due to WWE’s drug testing schedule. He also promised to release texts, tracking numbers, and addresses to prove him claims within the next week.

Bobby Lashley had been one of Impact Wrestling’s top stars, but he decided to leave the promotion during a week which also saw the departures of Laurel Van Ness and Ethan Carter III. With Van Ness and Carter both reportedly on the way to WWE soon, fans have wondered if Lashley will be following suit. According to PWInsider, Lashley’s Impact contract won’t expire until February 1st, so he won’t be in the Royal Rumble match this weekend. It was also noted that Lashley will likely be concentrating on booking more MMA fights for himself. Bobby Lashley was a big name in Impact Wrestling, and he has worked for WWE before, so the report mentions that “one would think WWE would be interested.”

Jason Jordan is currently being built up as a top star on the Raw brand. He has been involved in a major storyline with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, and recent reports have claimed that he could be taking on his tag team partner Seth Rollins at WrestleMania this year. His status in the Royal Rumble has been in question for a while now due to a reported back injury. According to the Wrestling Observer Radio, Jordan and Rollins are still booked to defend the Raw Tag Team Championships against the Bar this weekend. Depending on how Jordan is feeling after the match, WWE will then make a decision as to whether or not he will be entering the Royal Rumble match later in the show.
