— Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet has chimed in on the Sami Zayn/AEW reference last night on Raw and according to his report, Zayn was told ahead of time to “mention” AEW during his “Electric Chair” segment. It also sounds like Zayn was free to mention it in whatever way he saw fit. This report also adds that the audience members who were chosen to ask the questions were legitimate and not plants by the company in any way.

— WWE went ahead and deleted the AEW reference from their YouTube highlights and one theory that Rajah tweeted about is that this could lead to a suspension for Zayn as a way to explain him missing the Saudi Arabia event. Take this only as a rumor.

Another thought – whether it was scripted or not, if WWE is clever, they will "suspend" Sami Zayn and he will miss the Saudi Arabia Super ShowDown show. Wink, wink.
