— WWE announced yesterday that Ruby Riott has undergone successful surgery to repair a “bilateral injury to her right shoulder.” She is scheduled to receive an identical surgery on her left shoulder at a “later date”, according to the company. Riott hadn’t been seen on TV since just after WrestleMania but was still competing at non-televised live events in tag team action. There is no timetable for her return, but it sounds like she will be sidelined for much, if not all, of the remainder of 2019.
