Video: Daniel Bryan Admits He Was Emotional After In-Ring Return At WrestleMania 34
After a couple of years on the sidelines, Daniel Bryan finally made his long-awaited return to the ring for WWE at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday night.
Bryan joined Shane McMahon in defeating Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at last night’s pay-per-view at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The leader of the “Yes! Movement” spoke backstage after his in-ring return on Sunday night, pointing out something his wife, Brie Bella, told him about what he can and can’t control in terms of not allowing the backstage stuff to control what he does in the ring.
“It’s really cool, there are a lot of things that we have no control over, but the one thing we have in control is ourselves and how we fight for something,” Bryan said. “One of the things that Brie told me is that no matter who tells you ‘no’ around you, you’re the only one that can control you, so you just keep pushing forward [and] keep pushing forward.”
