Ligue 2 side AC Ajaccio have come up with an innovative way of raising funds for the January transfer window.

By using the website giveinsport.com, AC Ajaccio have sent up an account inviting fans to donate money to their page so that they may use these funds in the ongoing transfer window.

The website works in a very similar way to charitable donation sites such as Just Giving. AC Ajaccio have set themselves an ambitious target of raising £1.04m.

So far, they have received donations worth around £1305.20… A way to go before they can use any of that money to buy any player on the market…
