Former WWE Champion, AJ Styles is reportedly negotiating a brand new contract with WWE that would see him extend his deal by three years.

According to a report by Fightful.com, Styles is currently negotiating with WWE on a three-year deal, but as part of that he is looking to seriously reduce his schedule.

AJ is hoping to land a deal that is similar to that of Randy Orton who works all TV events with limited live event appearances, a deal which Daniel Bryan managed to secure himself when he re-signed.

The reason for this is due to the amount of time away from home AJ is spending, which is a topic he brought up during his 365 show on the WWE Network which aired last night.

Styles wants to spend more time with his family and according to the report he advocated to drop the WWE Championship recently due to the amount of time he was spending away from family, which could be one of the factors that led to Daniel Bryan’s surprise victory.

According to the report many WWE Superstars are expecting big pay bumps or schedule reductions due to the deals the company has secured in Saudi Arabia and Australia as well as SmackDown’s new television deal with FOX, but the company won’t want everyone on the roster on reduced schedules, however, someone of AJ Styles popularity might be able to land that contract.
