Welp… It actually happened.

At the start of Sunday night’s WWE TLC pay-per-view, the unlikely duo of Carmella and R-Truth defeated former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and captain crazy, Alicia Fox, to win Mixed Match Challenge season two.

As previously announced, the Smackdown Superstars will receive the coveted #30 spots in their respective Royal Rumble matches at the annual January classic — although we wouldn’t rule out R-Truth attempting to win the women’s Rumble match, for a chance to face Maryse at WrestleMania, of course.

Another perk of winning Mixed Match Challenge is that the winners were allowed to book an “all expenses vacation anywhere in the world”. It was revealed after their victory that Truth had submitted his vacation plans without consulting his partner. As such, the two will be vacationing… at the WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT.
