The WrestleMania 36 match card is quickly coming together on the Monday Night Raw side of the field, but plans continue to fluctuate where the Friday Night Smackdown roster is concerned.

According to Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan is now for 16-time world champion John Cena to challenge “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt on the Grandest Stage of Them All, in what would be a big rematch from WrestleMania 30.

The other plan is for the “Big Dog” Roman Reigns to take on Goldberg in a battle between two heavyweight juggernauts. Originally, the former SHIELD member was slated to challenge The Fiend for the Universal title at the event, and at one point was even rumored to win the 2020 Royal Rumble match.

Now, how exactly that effects the WWE Super Showdown main event is completely unknown. Wyatt will put the title on the line against Goldberg, so either reported match above could end up with the gold at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa.
