Warren Buffet, the billionaire chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, has said that he wants to own 100 per cent stake in tech giant Apple. In an interview to an American media network, following the annual shareholder meeting of his company, Buffett said, “I clearly like Apple. We buy them to hold….We bought about 5 per cent of the company. I’d love to own 100 per cent of it.”

Buffett’s Berkshire on Friday disclosed that it bought an additional 75 million shares in the first three months of 2018, becoming the No.2 shareholder. In the meantime,the Apple stock surged 2 per cent to hit an all-time high of $187.67.
