Bordeaux have had a €6m offer for Lille striker Nicolas de Préville rejected and do not appear capable of reaching Les Dogues’s asking price of €10m plus €2.5m in bonuses in order to sign the player before the deadline, according to L’Équipe.

FCGB only have the funds to go up to €8m, unless they are able to sell a player to fund the move. Thomas Touré, who is in advanced discussions with Angers, could facilitate things, but the latter side are unlikely to be able to pay more than €2.5m.

The most likely scenario at the time of writing is that de Préville stays a Lille player this summer.
