Breaking: New Member of Los Ingobernables de Japon to Debut Next Week in Tokyo, Per Tetsuya Naito

New Japan Pro Wrestling star Tetsuya Naito has released an unexpected video, revealing some shocking new information that may drastically alter the future of his incredibly popular faction, Los Ingobernables de Japon.

In the video, El Ingobernable stated that his big news stemmed from the absence of their fifth member, the endlessly charismatic Hiromu Takahashi. Earlier this year, Hiromu was severely injured while defending the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in San Francisco, breaking his neck.

With the NJPW Super Jr. Tag League kicking off on 10/16, the faction’s sole junior heavyweight member Bushi is currently lacking a partner. In order to make Los Ingobernables whole again, Naito has announced that they will reveal a brand new addition to the club on 10/8 at the incredibly stacked King of Pro-Wrestling event in Tokyo.

Naito specifically uses the word “pareja” when describing the new member, which typically means “couple”, but can also be used to describe a partner or companion. It is worth noting that he used the same word when teasing Evil’s addition to the faction as well. It is expected that the new sixth man will be a full-fledged addition to the New Japan roster, and not a current member of LIJ in Mexico or a short-term signing for the tag tournament.

The mysterious new signee will be in action next week at King of Pro-Wrestling, teaming up with Naito, Bushi and Sanada in an eight-man tag team match against CHAOS members Kazuchika Okada, Toru Yano and Roppongi 3K.

“Do you remember what I said in the ring 4/29 in Kumamoto? ‘Of course staying the same and not giving up are important. But, I think will to change, determination to change and bravery to step forward are important, too.’

Some might wonder what made me say these words. I was talking about how I had been. I wanted to change but failed to. My will was nearly broken and I was close to giving up several times. But not giving up and bravery to step forward has made me who I am now.

We would like to let people know what Tetsuya Naito and Los Ingobernables de Japon are about more than ever… On 7/7 in San Francisco, HIromu Takahashi was injured and will vacate his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. NJPW champion is obliged to defend his title within six months – that he cannot do. He needs more time to be back.

We would like to wait for his return and stay ‘tranquilo’, but we’d rather step forward than just wait. Five, not four of us would wait for Hiromu’s return. In other words, the new Los Ingobernables de Japon would wait for Hiromu’s return. On 8/8 at Ryogoku Sumo Hall, we will our new ‘pareja.’ Stay tuned. Adios.”
