Burnley have agreed a fee with Lorient for Majeed Waris
Premier League side Burnley have agreed a fee with Ligue 2 side FC Lorient for striker Majeed Waris, according to our colleagues at Ouest France.
A fee is agreed, but there are several other details to be sorted out, notably the player’s work permit eligibility and also the structure of payment, meaning what the instalments are going to look like.
The fee agreement with Burnley is worth just over €10.8m and a 25% sell-on fee percentage has been settled on.
West Ham United are looking to get in on the deal last minute. As Sky Sports have reported this afternoon, Waris is currently in London for discussions with the Hammers.
