Champions League Betting Tips: Goals galore in treble for Wednesday
Slavia Prague’s match against Inter could yield goals at both ends whilst Benfica’s trip to RB Leipzig also looks set to feature plenty of strikes
Matchday five of the Champions League continues on Wednesday night with a host of teams looking to secure their place in the last 16 of the competition.
Ahead of the eight fixtures, our tipster has picked out bets from three games to create a treble that pays out almost 5/1 (6.0) with bet365.
RB Leipzig vs Benfica Betting Tips
RB Leipzig only need a point to reach the Champions League knockout stages for the first time in history and hosting Group G bottom-dwellers Benfica provides them with the perfect chance to achieve that.
However, the value in Germany lies with backing both teams to score in a game that features over 2.5 goals at 10/11 (1.91) , given that Leipzig have managed just one clean sheet in the Champions League but scored six goals.
The bet would have paid out in all four of Benfica’s matches in the tournament so far this season, as well as in their last two domestic matches in Portugal.
Barcelona vs Borussia Dortmund Betting Tips
Although unbeaten and leading Group F, Barcelona have not been as dominant in the group stage as they would have liked with two wins and two 0-0 draws to their name.
They have manged just four goals so far whilst Dortmund are only marginally better with five strikes to their name, making the 8/11 (1.73) quote for under 3.5 goals seemingly good value for this one.
This bet would have paid out in all four of Barcelona’s Champions League matches this season and in three of Dortmund’s games in the competition.
Slavia Prague vs Inter Betting Tips
The other match in Group F sees Inter travel to the Czech capital in what is essentially a must-win game for the Italian giants.
Despite sitting third in Serie A, Antonio Conte’s men have won just one of their four Champions League fixtures this season and the best bet here comes in the form both teams to score at 3/4 (1.75) .
Inter have scored in all four of their games but have also kept just one clean sheet, whilst Slavia scored in the reverse fixture at San Siro and also netted at home against Barcelona earlier in the competition.
