Cody Rhodes will join the AEW commentary team this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Cody wrote the following on Twitter: “This Wednesday I’ll be joining @tonyschiavone24 on commentary LIVE for #AEWDynamite  (I have a bad habit on commentary that I’ll be totally leaning into, and hopefully it turns into something fun for the fans watching at home) More info to come…”

It isn’t clear if Jim Ross and Excalibur, who normally call Dynamite, will be joining them on commentary.

This week’s edition of Dynamite will not have the Blood & Guts match as originally advertised, as that has been postponed to a later date. Instead, a match between Cody and Jimmy Havoc has been announced. Kenny Omega will also defend the AAA Mega Championship against Sammy Guevara.

Additionally, Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho will meet face to face. Hardy made his debut for the promotion at the end of Dynamite last week.

Dynamite will take place this Wednesday at the Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida in front of an empty crowd due to the coronavirus pandemic.
