Jerry Lawler Says an Inmate Is Using Brian Christopher’s Identity, Speaks Out On Discrepancies Regarding Brian’s Death
In the wake of Brian Christopher’s passing, WWE Hall of Famer and father of Christopher, Jerry Lawler, spoke with ABC Local News 24 out of Memphis this week, and continued to speak out on his son’s passing and how he believes there is much more to the story than a reported suicide.
“It’s like a nightmare that we can’t wake up from”, Lawler says in the video above. “It seems like every day something new comes up, we hear something from someone that was either an eyewitness to incidents that happened the day that Brian died, or people that have heard stories about just different things that happened in the jail. Even as recently as just a couple days ago, somebody in the jail is still using Brian’s identity and was caught for identity theft.”

Lawler goes on to say that he received a phone call from Brian on the morning of the day he died, and Lawler noted that he sounded perfectly normal and rational. Lawler added that the conditions in the jail were very bad, and that nothing promised to him by the Sheriff had happened.
Lawler then revealed his fiance received a call later in the day informing her that Brian was involved in a fight with someone in the jail, and as a result, Brian needed to be stitched up after an eye laceration. Lawler said the Sheriff recounted the fight as Brian “acting a fool”, and picked a fight with someone, but Lawler said he learned from an eyewitness hours later that the fight did not at all go the way the Sheriff described.
