It looks like longtime WWE Superstar Glenn “Kane” Jacobs is looking to pursue his political aspirations.

Jacobs spoke with local NBC-affiliate WBIR this week and spoke about his “serious consideration” towards running as a Republican for the Knox County, Tennessee mayor position in 2018.

“I think the most important thing is I care very deeply about this community, like a lot of people do,” Jacobs told WBIR-TV. “And that’s the only reason I would consider getting into any sort of government because I do care very deeply. And I think it’s incumbent upon people who care about the communities to try to make a difference.”

Jacobs, who started with WWE in 1995, turned 49 last month, and has been very politically active over the years.
