The police on Wednesday arrested a lawyer for opening fire at a hotel in Kelambakkam near Mamallapuram.

The accused got into an argument with a hotel employee for not providing him the non-vegetarian food he had ordered for. He threatened them at gun point and created panic by opening fire. No was injured in the incident.

The Kelambakkam police seized the revolver and four bullets from the advocate, S Madhavan. They said he used a licensed revolver.
