Speaking in an interview with France Football, 21-year-old attacking midfielder Ludovic Blas confirmed his desire to leave Ligue 2 side EA Guingamp before Monday’s transfer deadline.
“The situation is quite difficult. Me, what I like, is to play at the highest level. I expected to rediscover Ligue 2 because I knew very well that I was going to play a few matches. But I thought that I would leave earlier than this. But it has nothing to do with Ligue 2. Even if Guingamp had stayed in Ligue 1, I would have liked to see something else to progress. It is going to be 8 years that I have been at Guingamp. To go to the next level, I think that I need to go elsewhere.”
