Gianluca di Marzio claims that Ligue 1 side Lyon have submitted a €20m + €2m in bonuses offer to Fiorentina to sign French midfielder Jordan Veretout.

The player is expect to reject the proposal as he wants to remain in Italy. AS Roma undertook a meeting with the player’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, today, which concluded positively and a salary offer has been made by the Romans to the player.

Now Fiorentina and Veretout have to decide whether or not to accept offers from either AC Milan or AS Roma.

But AS Roma are understood to have offered a better salary proposal to the player so far.
