A major heel turn kicked off this Sunday’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view, after The Miz and Shane McMahon suffered a heartbreaking loss in the A-Lister’s own hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

After the two lost their last chance to regain the Smackdown Tag Team Championships from the six-time champions Jimmy and Jey Uso, the two disappointed stars regrouped outside of the ring in front of The Miz’s father, who has become something of a fan-favorite character over the years.

The Ohio native’s night went from bad to so much worse, however, as McMahon took out his anger and frustration stemming from their second consecutive loss by blindsiding his partner with a clothesline to the back of the head, before unloading with wild rights and lefts to the nearly unconscious Miz.

While the sold-out crowd rained down an insane amount of boos on Shane O’Mac, the heir to the McMahon empire added insult to injury by putting his hands on Mr. Miz at ringside, grabbing him by the face and throwing him backwards.
