More on Rich Swann Leaving WWE; Note on How WWE Announces Suspensions
— As noted before, Rich Swann and WWE mutually decided to end their relationship with Swann given a full release from his contract. Unlike what WWE does with most talent they release, Swann wasn’t given the typical 90-day non-compete clause, which means he is free to work immediately and he has actually begun taking indie dates.
— WWE’s company policy on announcing failures and suspensions related to their drug testing is that if you are a main roster talent, the failures and suspensions are announced publicly but if you are a talent in NXT or otherwise a developmental wrestler, no such announcement is made.
