Rennes have confirmed the signing of Algerian international goalkeeper Raïs M’Bolhi in a permanent deal.

M’Bolhi has signed a 1.5 year deal with Rennes, and returns to France after 10 years away, having been a youth product at Olympique de Marseille.

M’Bolhi is expected to spend the rest of this current campaign as the number two choice behind Benoît Costil, whose contract expires at the end of the season and who is in talks with Fiorentina about a free transfer in summer.
