France Football report that Patrick Vieira has made the necessary approaches to get an idea of the extent to which the loan signing of PSG goalkeeper Kevin Trapp could be possible in the final hours of this summer window.

Vieira is unhappy with the goalkeeping situation at the club, viewing neither Walter Benitez nor Yoan Cardinale as good enough at present, and having tried hard to sign Joe Hart from Manchester City earlier on this summer.

Trapp had counted on sitting pretty as PSG’s 3rd choice goalkeeper this season, with his soon to be wife and super model Isabel Goulart having a huge influence over the German’s future decision-making.

A move to the Côte D’Azur could be appealing to both, but it will all depend on whether or not PSG are willing to let him go and how much of Trapp’s wages Nice could feasibly pay.
