ROH postpones Dallas and San Antonio shows to June
Less than two weeks before they were supposed to take place, ROH has postponed their two November shows in Texas.
The ROH shows that were set for Gilley’s Dallas in Dallas, Texas on November 9 and The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio on November 10 will no longer be taking place on those dates. They’ve been postponed to June 5 and June 6, 2020.
ROH’s announcement stated that “ROH officials cited operational conflict as the primary reason for the postponement and will provide full refunds to everyone who bought tickets within the next 7-10 business days. Those who bought tickets also have the option to use these for the June 5 and June 6 events.”
ROH will be holding meet-and-greets in Dallas on November 9 and San Antonio on November 10. They’ll be free for those who had purchased tickets to the postponed shows and $10 each for everyone else. ROH noted that Matt Taven, Jay Lethal, Dalton Castle, and Shane Taylor are confirmed for the meet-and-greets, with locations and other talent to be announced in the coming days.
“We are in debt to the fans of Dallas and San Antonio,” ROH general manager Greg Gilleland said. “We take pride in the passion and commitment of our fans and in return always strive to deliver them the best experience in every way that we can. We are currently working on some big plans for 2020 that involve a tremendous effort by everyone in the company and we vow to return to Texas in a big way.”
This year’s Survival of the Fittest tournament was going to take place across the November 9 and November 10 shows. It was announced as a tag team tournament, with the winning team getting a future shot at the ROH Tag Team titles.
ROH will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Columbus, Ohio for events this weekend. The Experience is taking place in Pittsburgh this Saturday, while Columbus is hosting ROH Unauthorized on Sunday.
