Still time to sign up for regional NFCA Coaches Clinics

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An unmatched speaker lineup is featured at the seven remaining two-day regional NFCA Coaches Clinics being offered this month.

A Chicago Advanced clinic led off the schedule just prior to the NFCA Convention in December. A second clinic will be held in Chicago on Jan. 5-6, featuring Hofstra University head coach Larissa Anderson, NFCA Hall of Famer Cindy Bristow of Softball Excellence, University of Texas assistant Tripp MacKay, University of Notre Dame assistant Lizzy Ristano and UCLA assistant Kirk Walker.

All of the clinics have a similar format, with content tailored to the expertise of the speakers at specific sites. The other clinics are Louisville (Jan. 5-6), Charlotte Advanced (Jan. 12-13), Portland (Jan. 12-13), Minneapolis (Jan. 19-20), Nashville (Jan. 19-20) and Kansas City (Jan. 26-27).

This past April, the NFCA announced it had purchased the seven popular National Softball Coaches Clinics that had been run successfully by NFCA Hall of Famer Mary Nutter and Traci Mayberry for the past 30 years, combining them with the Association’s own coaches clinic it has run in the Louisville area since 2016. All together, the eight clinics are the newest opportunity for the NFCA to provide premier education to coaches in cities near them.
