Weekly AEW Rankings: New Champ Shakes Things Up, Dark Order Dominates, MJF Approaches
All Elite Wrestling has revealed this week’s updated rankings for their men’s, women’s and tag team divisions. It was a busy week, with data taken from AEW Dynamite, a special weekend edition of AEW Dark, and AEW Revolution.
Jon Moxley has taken the top spot as champion in the men’s division, with Chris Jericho to #1 despite his 0-1 overall singles record in 2020. MJF bounced up to #2 with his big win over Cody Rhodes, who fell to #4 this week. Kenny Omega, one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, moved to #3 with a win over PAC last week, and a successful tag title defense at Revolution.
Hikaru Shida has jumped to the #1 spot in the women’s division, although former champion Riho is close behind. Both boast a 3-1 singles record this year so far. The Dark Order is also firmly in #1 for tag teams, sitting at 5-0 coming off wins on DARK and the Revolution pre-show, as they prepare to reveal their mysterious “Exalted One”.
