F4Wonline.com is reporting that former-WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods’s Achilles injury is more severe than originally thought. The superstar suffered the injury during a match at a Sydney live event. Woods reportedly took an Irish Whip and essentially collapsed.

WWE initially referred to the condition as an “Achilles injury” but according to F4W its more likely an Achilles tear. There’s no word on how long Woods will be out of action, but if it is indeed an Achilles tear, he will require surgery and a lengthy recovery process.
