14-Year-Old Confesses To Killing His Family: Police
LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL — A 14-year-old boy confessed to killing his family of five in Limestone County Monday night, authorities said. The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said the boy is cooperating with law enforcement.
The incident occurred in the 25000 block of Ridge Road in Elkmont. Three of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two suffered critical injuries and were airlifted to local hospitals where they were pronounced dead at approximately 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The teen called law enforcement to alert them of the killings initially, and later confessed to the killings in an interview, according to the LCSO.
The boy reportedly tossed the 9mm handgun used in the murders, and the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday morning that the weapon has been recovered.
