Here’s Your First Bloody Look at Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 has been officially announced by NetherRealm Studios at The Game Awards, with a release date of April 23, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The trailer (teased by Ed Boon as an award for best sports/racing game), showed off a lot, including Scorpian vs Evil Raiden, weapons, classic Scorpion and best of all, lots and lots of gore. Check out the trailer below.

Though this is the first time we’ve seen Mortal Kombat 11, murmurings of its existence began in November after Spanish-language voice actor José Eduardo Garza Escudero tweeted his disappointment at being removed from the game by localization company Pink Noise Studios.

The last entry in the franchise was released in 2015, and re-relased with all its DLC in 2016 as Mortal Kombat XL.
