Kyle O’Reilly Turned Down ROH Contract Days Before Wrestle Kingdom 11
The Pro Wrestling Sheet has exclusively revealed that Kyle O’Reilly is no longer under contract with Ring of Honor, and apparently turned down ROH’s deal just days before Wrestle Kingdom 11.
Sources close to Kyle told The Pro Wrestling Sheet that his contract expired a few days ago and informed ROH that he would not be re-signing with the company. It is being rumoured that O’Reilly plans to sit out the next few weeks in order to weigh up his future options.
For those unaware SPOILERS O’Reilly lost the ROH World Championship to Adam Cole, which immediately raised questions about his future and contractual status.
The Pro Wrestling Sheet were informed that the plan was always for KO to drop the title at WK11, however at this point it’s unclear as to whether he will appear at the Ring of Honor show in Atlanta on January 14th.
According to PWTorch, Kyle’s tag partner Bobby Fish has already inked a new deal with the company.
