WWE has released a video preview of the upcoming NXT UK Championship Match between Pete Dunne and Walter at Takeover: New York on April 5.

In any other instance, a smaller man stepping up to Walter on the main event stage would be akin to a lamb getting led to the slaughter. But in this case, the one stepping up to Walter is no lamb. The Bruiserweight is the man on deck and he’s ready for war.

Pete Dunne is the longest reigning champion in WWE today, with a title reign over over 683 days. He’s been more than dominant, as he’s never backed down from a challenge and the same is true now.

Dunne fights well above his physical stature and the same will surely be true in this dream match on April 5. Walter is coming into this bout as the unstoppable giant who destroys everyone in his path and he will surely bring that power down on the champ.

But Dunne has made a career of fighting against the odds and somehow becoming the favorite in the process. While it’s entirely possible that he will lose to Walter, fans will not be shocked if Dunne comes away with the victory.

Of course Walter is a one-of-a-kind talent and it’s hard to believe he won’t win the gold at Takeover. Despite the outcome, this is definitely a must-see match for fans.
