Naomi Calls Out Women’s Battle Royal, Lends Support To Asuka

As previously reported, it was recently announced that this year’s WrestleMania will also feature a 2nd Annual WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal. Those who are part of this match so far include Asuka, Carmella, Naomi, Lana, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Mickie James & Zelina Vega. But the bigger news coming out of this announcement is Asuka from being The SmackDown Women’s Champion, who would have most likely defended her title at WrestleMania, to being moved To The WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal.
It was previously reported that Naomi recently took to Twitter and commented on this match saying, “Y’all sure this ain’t going to get cancelled too? Btw thank you so much for the opportunity.” Naomi has had her matches cancelled several times before including one at WrestleMania 29 where she was supposed to be involved in a match between The Funkadactyls, Brodus Clay & Tensai vs. The Bella Twins, Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow, until it was removed from the card. Naomi would take to Twitter again and post a photo of herself with Asuka saying, “I got you sis #WWEPikeville #JusticeForAsuka.”

Shortly after those comments were posted on Twitter, a few people have taken a shot at Naomi, one of which even called her “entitled.” Naomi responded with, “This isn’t about me this is about our division as a whole we all work to hard & have come to far to come THIS FAR! So go back to your cave bish this don’t concern you.” Naomi then tweeted out a selfie with the caption, “Unapologetically passionate and determined #feeltheglow.”
Another person would then call Naomi out and say that her position on the card most likely didn’t change, but The Former SmackDown Women’s Champion reminded the person that it’s not just about her.
“You right, there was never plans for me. However, I was looking forward to what could have been for others & do my part for them to get there, but I guess I should be happy I get to sit in catering, not contribute, not do what I love, [and] keep my mouth shut because the truth may ruffle feathers.”

Another person then thought that it would be best for Naomi to just be “humbly silent for the sake of her career.” Naomi replied with, “Boo, I’ve been humbly silent for a decade I don’t have another decade in me especially not for b.s.”
