It was recently announced that WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne will be defending his WWE United Kingdom Title against WALTER at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: New York Event.

Yesterday’s episode of NXT UK opened up with NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint & Assistant Sid Scala revealing that WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne will be defending his WWE United Kingdom Title at TakeOver: New York. Dunne then came out and demanded to have WALTER as his opponent. There has reportedly been some tension brewing between the two since WALTER debuted back at The NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool Event in January. They teamed up to defeat The Coffey Brothers on last week’s episode of NXT UK.

MXT TakeOver: New York takes place on April 5th from The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York during WrestleMania 35 Weekend.
