The National Wrestling Alliance will be hosting its first ever pop-up event to kick off the new year on Saturday, Jan. 5th in Clarksville, TN.

The main event for the show has officially been confirmed by NWA management, as Nick Aldis will put the coveted Ten Pounds of Gold on the line against a true “TNA Original” and former world champion in his own right — “The Cowboy” James Storm.

The date and location for this NWA “pop-up” event is very curious, as Impact Wrestling will be running its first pay-per-view event of 2018 just 24 hours later at The Asylum in Nashville, TN. Not only is that the same venue that the NWA ran their 70th Anniversary PPV in October, but it’s about a 50 minute drive from Clarksville, with traffic.
