WWE.com posted an article updating us on the situation of Roman Reigns. According to the story, Reigns suffered “cracked ribs, internal injuries and possibly a separated shoulder.”
These injuries are for storyline purposes and Reigns will be fine for his match against Braun Strowman later this month at Payback.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez speculated that the upcoming match with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman at Payback could end up being a “Stretcher Match”. Meltzer went on to say he could see that happening as they could have a finish where Braun wins but Roman is still protected, as he wouldn’t be pinned in such a match.
