Samoa Joe Update, Owens Calls Out Rosenberg, Toni Storm News

Samoa Joe has been out of action over the past few days due to a foot injury. It was initially reported that the injury did not appear too severe, but the belief is that the injury has gotten worse day by day. At last, the man himself has provided an update on the status of his injury. Joe recently spoke with Booker T on the Heated Conversations podcast about his injury. He stated that “It just depends on how quickly it’s going to heal. Hopefully, it will be sooner than later. Obviously, we’re going to be past the Rumble but I don’t know how much further past that.” Even though Joe is officially out of the Royal Rumble match, he is hopeful that the injury will be healed soon enough. He also explained that his injury does not require surgery and he just needs to rest it for the time being.
When it comes to social media, Kevin Owens has never been afraid to call out anybody. In the past, Kevin Owens has publicly gone after fans, Alex Riley, and Randy Orton. Owens has now called out media personality and WWE pre-show panelist Peter Rosenberg. It all began when Rosenberg revealed that he was unaware of War Machine prior to their recent WWE signing. After receiving some backlash, he pointed out an interview wherein Kevin Owens stated that he did not have time to watch New Japan Pro Wrestling. Owens then sharply responded by reminding Rosenberg that his job is to report news for WWE and that he should take some time to learn about recent signees, rather than dismiss them.

So we all agree war machine is gonna have to change his name for WWE right?

If my role for a certain company was to comment on things happening within said company and they had just hired some really talented wrestlers, I’d probably find a few minutes to learn who they are and where they come from before talking about them, though. https://t.co/14IR0JmXB7

WWE fans became very well aware of who Toni Storm is during the Mae Young Classic tournament last year. The young wrestler has already managed to impress several different promoters. In fact, WWE has reportedly had interest in signing her to a contract for some time now. For now though, she will be enjoying a run as the wXw Women’s Champion. In addition to her recent title win, Storm has also held the PROGRESS Women’s Championship for several months as well. With Mae Young Classic competitors Candice LeRae and Serena Deeb stepping back into the Performance Center lately, it’s definitely still possible that Toni will do the same again one day as well.
